NDDC DONATES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO OROGBUM HEALTH CENTER

Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC has donated medical equipment to Model Primary Health Care center, Orogbum, Ogbunabali Community, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, PHALGA, Rivers State.

Speaking at the hand over at the venue, Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Dr. Samuel Ogbuku described the move as a demonstration of the commission’s resolve to cater for the health needs of the people of the region.

Represented by Director Education, Health and Social Services NDDC, Dr. Patience Ezugwu, the Managing Director stated that the interventionist agency has put in much efforts to improve the health status of the region, which include, building of  Hospitals, donation of equipment, Free medical outreaches among others.

Reacting while receiving the equipment, the Executive Secretary, Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board, Dr. Chituru Adele who was represented by the Director Medical Services, Dr. Lawson Jack Express joy over the gesture from NDDC.

Dr. Adele who promised judicious use of the items, acknowledged that it would improve their services.

The Executive Secretary solicited partnership with the commission in healthcare services in the State.

Some of the items donated were, Glucometer, examination couches, surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment among others.
